WIN;
Perfect. Me.

THRUST
FIGHT;
Torn.
FIX
BEAT
CRUSHED
STOMPED;
Changed.

BROKEN
CRY
This wasn't for me,
I did this for you.
Each cut and each bruise,
And every beating in between.
No food,
Just water,
Day by day.
and there goes the weight.
I recall elementary
In which we would play in dirt
I recall you as the girl I hardly talked to
The one that I knew but didn't know
I recall middle school
My thoughts were once clouds
Scattered and blocking out a lucid view
I used to let the cold rattle my aching bones
As I sat and waited for the skies to clear
But now the shadows are at my back

Like I don’t know what rhymes with Benjamin
Or this bed I’m in
All I know is how dead I’ve been
