Pain is like snow.
You look up—
And no matter how hard you squint,
You can't quite see where it's coming from.
From time to time it may stop,
But in reality,
It's rushing at you,
All at once.
Dawn And Break Of October
A speck of blue,
Entrapped by all my careless wonders
Do touch me here, do touch me there,
Rob me so I am deep in slumber.

The ground is a grave.
The trees are skeletons.
They have recently been stripped of their skin.

A shitty run down turqousie chevy,
with a dented silver door on the left hand side,
crawling from the passengers side to yours,
sitting in the lap of a past lover,
I always die a little
In Fall
I guess
The autumn breezes
Just whisk away
My fragile hopes
And my broken dreams
And carry them someplace
Far away
And I am left
With the fears
