Cancer:
C- Chance to say I love you one more time
A- Admiring how they're strong as a lion and as tough as a bull
Noticing their body changes, their speech
Calling them to say goodbye and I'll see you soon
Man has searched
But has not found
The great city
Of Atlantis
A utopian city
With great technology
And tolerance
Of homosexuality
what's worse?
Having to set up for a Christmas party or hosting a party your parents were supposed to throw?
what's worse?
seeing your mother sobbing hysterically or keeping yourself from doing so?

A spider infested my body and to my body it eats.
Why spider eat mine body while my heart thou beats.
Spider, can't you slit my throat open wide first at least,
To salvage my boat away far to its destined release;
my grief is not linear
i am depressed and then angry
i accept that you are dead
and that is something i cannot control
i think of you and the glorious mess you were
my grief is not linear
i am depressed and then angry
i accept that you are dead
and that is something i cannot control
Dear Grandpa
Do you remember when
i came home from school when I was 5?

and told me my dog Tippy died.
Grandpa,
Do you remember when
Magic is like the stars
Stars are like the sea
Seas are like flowers
Flowers are like cities
Cities are like dogs
Dogs are like humans
When I was young,
People walked the streets, taking life for granted.
But when you know you’re going to die,
You cherish every moment you have left.
The skinny kid, Jimmy
He walked
as if he was too big for his frame!
Legs spread apart
Chest out.
He's the same kid
who told me,
that heroes do run-away
sometimes.
