I am compassionate Not self-compassionate. I am empathetic Not self-empathetic. I am loving Not self-loving. I am caring Not self-caring. I must take care of myself. 
  Smile smile stay  Smile smile go Smile in denial  Crooked teeth crooked cops  Crooked world crooked rocks  Chipped teeth broken teeth  Challenge accepted smiles unprotected 
Do I intimidate you? With the way I wear my skin  Do you fear the way I stand?  Because I don't let my insecurities win   Can you handle the way I walk  like I've got red carpet beneath every step

Hey, I gotta deal with trauma before it deals with me  I think about you often but not all the time  What are you like when emotions arise? And how do you look like when you rise?

Am I tainted now? I’m asking out of curiosity. My darling, sweet child of mine, Don’t blame yourself for this act of atrocity. A twisted man crossed the line,

Tempest resolve within me,Cursing these waters with intrusive collision.Meeting crest by crest with defiance.Clamor and upheaval, I dwindle away;The saline waters eroding this fleshy vessel.
