childfree

I am acting out of prudence
And not of foolish hope
My child shall remain Nonexistent
Yes! This must be so
They will never have a parent
Unable to fulfill their own needs
I sever my curse
By ending my Continuity -
A worthwhile sacrifice of a chance
For biological perpetuity
I may be doomed
To the life of an enigma
But after me-no one else
Shall bear the grievous stigma
A Seed is what I sacrifice
For a ticket to a better life
With harmony- security
More antidote- more stability
This Seed I sacrifice
Is a toxic combination
Saints and et cetera would call it
Someone asked me,
"Why are you childfree?
Don't you want to see your face?
The continuing of your race?"
How do I give this explanation?Children are not just a continuation
They are human beings
