A Seed- Is What I Sacrifice

A Seed is what I sacrifice

For a ticket to a better life

With harmony- security

More antidote- more stability

This Seed I sacrifice

 Is a toxic combination

Saints and et cetera would call it

An atrociously awful abomination

This Seed comes from Flowers

Of a venomous kind

As devastating as a cocktail

Of ricin and strychnine

I myself forbear

From bearing such a prolifically poisonous, profligate; profane souvenir

I possess more becoming mediums- should I care

To prove that I was here

With this barter I hope to assuage

Pain I've incurred for decades

Eventually I hope it will be

For I have known enough misery

This poem is about:
Me
