Where a sight took my breath away

A portion of my heart was torn away
I never thought I'd see the day
All I saw was endless grey
What is awesome about me?
For years, I wondered if I was ever seen.
If I was glass in water or an ink stain on paper.

For years, I wondered if people cared about me.
Tasting the music.
At first, not knowing
What your ears enjoy.
The sounds of the beats
Passing through your mind,
Clouding your head
Day in and day out.
Soon enough you are
Everyone will be looking at me,
Vicious eyes boring holes in my body
Everyone will laugh
Reality is, I’ll probably faint
You might think,
Think that I would run
Honestly I’m considering it
