I made some plans, they disappeared.
I lost some friends and shed some tears.
Around me masks, no people there.
Weddings livestreamed, yet...
"I'm fine," I say when asked how I'm doing,
"I'm good," I tell you when something's wrong,
on the outside I may appear happy and joyful,...
So many preparations, regulations, expectations,
so many people expecting me to people-please their purposes.
Since when am I your puppet...
What a world we live in! Do we even live in this world?
Technology, constantly, overwhelming, misery,
what's left in the world to see?...
Start to grow up,
get pulled 12 steps back.
About to move forward
then trapped in today.
Hoping for the future
only to have dreams...
