Writing is a passion that I harbor in a bottle too often. It's hard for me to express my words out in the open with out stuttering, or losing what I want to say. For me, poems capture what the heart can't say out loud. Poetry helps those thoughts become heard and I am more than willing to hear others as well.
Vines in between my palms
Clouded the thoughts of an unattainable scheme
Accompany a seemingly harmless pirouette
crashing to the tear...
Hazed silence/
Hazed silence of the drip of water/
Hot steam trails that hit the frigid pavement/
Heavy pants of closure
cascading...
Leaves fall off into the world below
Like how raindrops kiss the pavement and asphalt
Leaving a trail of existence that will soon disperse...
Raining on through the cloudy days
Staining the tainted window sills
Mother nature's song that played
Flashes that crashed through sky's...
Wiped away tears from the hurt that was shed
Hide the mistakes that were made on wrists because they wanted to bleed beauty
As they were...
