You're Not Safe Behind the Curtain

Location

Do you see the man

Standing back there,

Behind the Curtain

With a blank stare?

He's hiding from you,

He's staying away,

He's always afraid,

Of what others might say.

That man behind the curtain

Is far from the "norm,"

He closes his eyes

Only to see a storm.

A storm of words,

For that's what he sees

Because he's too reserved,

To broadcast his pleas.

He asks God for help

But never sees a sign.

Wondering if really,

Was this the grand design?

The man behind the curtain

Needs to know,

How far, does this really have to go?
