High school has taught me lessons

Hopefully one day I'll benefit
I've networked and networked, trying to find the help that I need
To get a higher education, with goals to succeed
High school has been fast, short and sweet.
Actually, I just lied. At times, I suffered from defeat.
Memories that I have made will last forever
From food fights, to fires, to rap battles together.
College will be a show,
New and refreshing to incoming freshman
A slow moving process for the old.
Excited is an understatement
Nervous is as well.
College is ready for me.
