Wouldn't I

Wouldn't I be pretty
If she wasn't tan and skinny
Knew all the words to country
Like you do

Wouldn't I be pretty
If you drank too much whiskey
Drove home at two
And I waited up for you

And wouldn't I be pretty
If this demon wasn't in me
I didn't scratch my face
But wore perfume

Wouldn't I be pretty
If you could see within me
And not the damage on the outside
That I do
