This world is so meaningless I just want to die
I want to erase my life because its all just a lie
People come and people go but they will never know
That today might be the day that I'll let out all my misery and woe because...
Everyone thinks I'm worthless but I know I AM worthless and nothing's going to change that because...
My grave is calling me I can hear it I can see it
I can picture my corpse rotting every little bit
Picturing the afterlife and how it would be
Will I meet the devil or will my angel stay with me? Because...
Everyone thinks I'm worthless but I know I AM worthless
And nothing's going to change that because...
Everything's going to change because tonight is the night
That I won't feel so worthless and I'll step into the light
But before I do I have to say goodbye

This poem focuses on the subject of teen suicide and how bullying today greatly affects those individuals who feel have no choice but to end their own life. Although this is a rather dark and disturbing poem I felt that I did not want to censor it or the message would not be as effective and might not get across. I also wrote this poem in order to show the viewpoint of the victim and to describe the struggles that he or she go through and that process of making that final and unfortunate decision.
