A word one hears a thousand times

when in school

Growing up with monolingual Spanish speaking parents, I felt disadvantaged due to

their limitations

My parent’s ability to participate and support my academics has been an obstecle

for them and myself

Their resilience has been a blessing they have passed on

to me

It has been an

inspiration and motivation for me

to suceed

I have become an outspoken individual who has learned not to be

afraid of looking beyond what’s presented and

accomplish my goals

A dream I have

to be in marketing

to travel the world

and help those in need

Sweat, ideas, and organization 

all for the higher education

Time is ticking
