A Woman Named Kali

Fri, 10/11/2019 - 10:35 -- Hanna14

An untamable spirit, fierce, full of love.

As dangerous as a hurricane, more calming than a dove.

Some claim she’s a warrior, retaining belligerence.

She walks upon Earth creating no harm,

Only helping each being through their personal storm.

Evading all evil, replacing it with compassion

Rationing time to evolve herself, but placing those needs upon an empty shelf.

Couldn’t you agree, the satisfaction of making another smile

Is more fulfilling than worrying about materialism.

A trainwreck, with a beautiful brain that’s in check

Constantly analyzing every way to save the Earth,

Because we are about to give birth to a horrific apocalypse.

While everyone is obsessed with collecting chips

Sitting on the edge of giving up and building a progressive system

Would it just be easier to let the big man win?

Instead she continues the hustle,

Gaining physical, mental, and spiritual muscle.

Have you ever seen a woman like this?

Soul of a gypsy, with a touch of chaotic bliss

If perhaps you cross her path, grasp tight

Allow the mother instinct to soothe your soul

Don’t hold too tight because she will let go,

Giving you the opportunity and journey to love yourself whole.
