Who We Are

Location

A friendly face,

for friends and family,

naive grins, boisterous laughs,

plastered across their visage.

A familiar fellow,

warm, kind, and blithe,

never a stranger, or visitor,

radiates compassion and hospitality.

A peevish peer,

surly and apathetic in nature,

a true personification of

the throes of teenage angst.

The withdrawn watcher,

taciturn and reticent,

observes in a dreary haze;

I am not them,

yet they are me;

who are we?
