And swoop on down and save her from sorrow.

You showed her that memories could last.

The quesion then becomes,

how come they didn't last?

Reading diary pages, of an entry from the past

Pictures that didn't last, spells that were cast.

Questioning,

how it all fell so fast?

She's remembering back when you were superman.

But it seems she could never fit into your plans.

Cause you never knew who to put first.
