I ask you not to look away.

I don't really have much to say.

I'll try my best if I may.

I know you might not want to smile

But I'll stay and talk to you for awhile.

I probably can't make you happy

But I don't want you to feel crappy.

So in my head I'll do the math.

I'll figure out something to make you laugh.

Well maybe not now.

I'll admit I don't even know how.

But remember the sun will always shine.
