When the Sun Rises

When the sun rises

don't look for me.

I've done something awful

and I don't want you to see.

When the sun rises

don't turn on the news.

I'm afraid that's how

they'll try to tell you.

When the sun rises

no "good morning" text.

I'm not gonna answer

and it's for the best.

When the sun rises

don;t you dare cry for me.

'Cause I cried for years

and I'm finally free.

When the sun rises

don't blame me for it all.

Because I tried to get help

and you ingored my calls.
