What I Wish to Change for Today

I look into the sky,

and see its beauty.

I venture into the seas,

and feel it's tranquility.

I think of all the people,

and can taste the pain they must delay.

I wonder and dream.

think and believe.

What would the world be like

if people could walk free.

What would their God say

if he saw the things they do today.

I dreamt of love tonight.

I dreamt of love tomorrow.

This world needs more acceptance,

of the ones that are not the same.

This world needs more acceptance,

and patience; something to hold today.
