What I could never have

the words in my head have taken on a new voice.                                  Times passed but lessons not learned, those who can are lacking.

As this generation moves on, defying nature or defying adaption.              As ignorant as the ones who decide for us.

Did we make this ourself? or were the ones before us lazy, Bathing selfishly in the freedom of choice, causing others to lose theirs.

True selflessness resides in those who have nothing left to share.

This poem is about:
Our world
