The Waterfall

Location

Once, and forever after, a Waterfall poured over man.
A torrent of peace and knowledge and understanding of the divinity that is existence.
But the water is and always will be destined to cease,
dry with the seasons of millennia as all cycles go.
The water whispered gently to the rock, "Don't worry you'll stand long after I'm gone. Just listen to my whispers and keep them in memory until again we're born into existence as yin and yang once more.
Cycle spin and balance kept."
The rock forlorn and empty hearted replied with heavy thought,
"And look out upon the world empty and dark with the duty of
seeing how empty it is without your voice... Cycle spin indeed my friend...
Balance I will keep but the silence I loathe..."
