Wasting Away The Days

Your love is true,

but this "us"

does neither you

nor I any good.

'Cause,

In the end,

this big house

is still empty

and I remain alone,

in the silence,

wasting away the days.

You're out finding yourself

in unknown foreign lands:

I'm in the place you once knew,

searching for answers.

But,

In the end,

this big house

is still empty

and I remain alone,

in the silence,

wasting away the days.

I'm left waiting,

hoping you'll return

to this place, and

once again call it home.

But,

As of now,

this big house

is still empty

and I remain alone,

in the silence,

wasting away the days.
