Vintage Princess

I’ve stopped drinking from the wishing well of health
Guaranteed to keep you young and make all your wishes
Come true. Despite the try my will ran dry
Has I came to the realization not everything is flawless
Even fairytale princesses have flaws
Falling for a kiss
Holding on for something real in the end
Snowhite got slipped a roofie
Jasmine fell for a cheat
Belle got Stockholm syndrome
And fell for her kidnapper
Aurora is a spoiled brat
And Cinderella got lucky
But who has tiny feet
We all have our flaws I just choose not to sugar code it
Where all princesses just a little modern
Runaway from the alter just like Cinderella
so unsure of love ever after
Belle just a lot fearful of her kidnapper
Rich has hell yet something’s missing just like Aurora
Worried something will go wrong always holding on to drink
Watching your every watch so much like Snowhite
And skeptical of it all being a lie in the end just like Jasmine
Because we are the real vintage princesses
In black and white
Yet shining has bright has a diamond
Shining through the glass all in colors of the rainbow
Because like a chandelier or kaleidoscope of colors
We all deserve to catch our un-perfect imperfectly perfect fairytale
Catching ends of rainbows
Wearing ball gowns
Waiting for that day we
Get to switch to something
More vintage white and elegant
That fits just like a glove
