Vast - TWIST AND SHOUT SLAM

Poem

The vast, vast field

A brush of air

Wind that pinches my hair back

A micro whisper that is the sound

of wind against a window

The screeching void in my ears as I dare to stare

into the vast, vast field

As I finish my bunny ears

A twist and a pull

My cleats strung tight

Protected are my ankles as I wish them good luck

I look beyond the faces that stare evil at me

Only to see my destination is nigh

Only by looking can I see possibility

All in all with

The vast, vast field.
