UNDER the ARMOUR

What's UNDER the ARMOUR?

What's inside the shell?

What stirs up the STORM?

What causes the swell?

When times get tough,

Do I run and then hide?

Or do I stand up and fight,

For what drives me inside.

Am I SPEED, am I STRENGTH?

Am I ENDURANCE and AWE?

Will I fight for that inch,

when life hands me the ball?

Truth is I WILL fight for that inch,

I am STAMINA and SPEED,

I WILL reach my goals,

and NO ONE shall impede.

I WILL PROTECT THIS HOUSE,

my temple, my dome.

I WILL fight for my right,

to make the weight room my home.

Because my ARMOUR is strong!

My ARMOUR is THICK!

But what's UNDER my ARMOUR,

is what makes me tick.

My football is my heart,

my helmet is my head,

my feet are my cleets,

and swiftly they'll tread.

To glory to stardom,

to greatness and fame,

and one day people will REMEMBER MY NAME.

But before I become GREAT,

I have to be good,

I have to lace up my spikes,

and pull over my hood.

I have to train my body,

my spirit and mind,

then I can put on my ARMOUR,

and to battle I'll ride.

I WILL climb to new heights,

I WILL train like a FREAK,

I WILL tread up that mountain,

I WILL strive for that peak.

When I reach that top,

I WILL chant with a thrill,

I AM UNDER ARMOUR,

and I WILL and I WILL!!!!!
