It truly sucks when you give someone your all and they take it for granted.

It really makes you feel like you’re worthless.

When you try so hard to make them happy and they don’t appreciate it is like a stab directly to the heart.

Knowing you’ll do anything to see a smile on their face

Whereas on the other hand, they wouldn’t offer you the help if you were down-and-out.

It’s the most heart wrecking thing.

You do all of this because it’s in your character.

It’s an almost reflex and they don’t care.

When you give, you’re not supposed to expect anything back in return

But man, it sure would be nice to receive the slightest form of appreciation.
