The Ugliest Man
I have met the ugliest man
That ever has survived
His cheeks are sallow holes
And his hair has never thrived
Upon his fingers delicate
Sit the rings of fortune and fame
He trusts in the immortality
Of his own well-published name
Often has he been mistook
For the image of Death
But all who know that natural heart
Know not to waste their breath
He is a sin among himself
His vanity is cruel
He has no mercy for the weak
His Fates no thread and spool
They hold no thoughts of life
But the key to untold glory
And all are subject to the lie
That is his conman's story
He preys on the narrow-minded
He plants his ill-got seed
And successfully corrupts us
With his own name: Greed
