The Two-Sided Brain

You ask me
In this world we sail
If one thing I could change
What thing would this be?

One thing I would change
It is simple, yet slightly strange
There would be no left or right brain
Mathematics and liberal arts alike would bring glee

Our minds would have range
Skills in grammar and mechanics would be universally attained
And none would find Calculus deranged

So you ask me one thing:
What thing would I change?
In my ideal world, none would have shame
Because all would have a left and a right brain.
