two pills

I can swallow

I can swallow two pills

At the same time

And it gives me a thrill

Mixing my meds

I find it addictive

Don’t limit my talents

I find that restrictive

Pill number one

Is wide and it’s pink

It changes the color

Of what’s poured in my sink

Pill number two

Well it isn’t as lovely

It’s sad granny gray

And comes up all bubbly

I can swallow

I can swallow the truth

And I can take down

My last baby tooth

But just not right now

The molar’s all twisted

Don’t limit my talents

I find that restrictive

Cut off my hair

& cut all my ties

Shut all the windows

And beat on your thighs

Kiss me good night

But don’t mess with mornings

Pray over my body

And then leave me snoring
