True Warrior
Do you hear them?
The warriors of this age
who don't beat their chests and tattoo their faces
who don't fight off the bad guys and save all the good guys.
These are the true warriors
who only have two fingers, or only an arm
who suffers from disabilities yet still goes on living.
Who gain pain to gain knowledge
who sacrifice for the good of others.
They are not your typical warriors
but true warriors at hear, at mind, at soul.
Respect them, thank them, help them.
They're never at ease, they never can rest.
We are the only ones who can take away their pain.
Give them a good bed, feed them a feast, dress them in clothing and
clean them with the greatest care you've ever given.
That's what we should do, but all they ask
is a nice warm meal, a bed to sleep in.
Warm clothes for the winter, light clothes for the summer
a bit of education, a bit of love.
But the most important thing is-
to be able to be human again.
