Tried

Thu, 07/25/2013 - 21:17 -- Wyonna8

She would give her life for the day when she could trully be free

because the trees never got it

Just left her with more indignity

So

she got drugged up on faith, trying to leave these streets.

 and even then

still trapped

She trys to believe

that one day, she wont be what the world called her to be.

Daddy said " you liitle whore,  dont you know you cant live without out me!"

"your too dumd and in this slum is where I want you to be."

Mommy's worried, praying to see her baby girl exceed

To greater things

A better life

But baby girl just can't see

Shes so confused and abused

In this world she just cant breath

She wants more buts she's stubborn and she won't take heed.

Shes has Faith and its wavering

Yea, shes in school

And it seems  even those four walls are trying to cave her in.

Where the pain stops

She doesn't know

She just continues to grow

Knowing that pressure makes dimonds and she will be tried as gold.
