Tiny Egotism

Dogs don't fly,

Chickens just die,

Why try to get by,

If we are meant to die?

Are we alone on this dot?

Suspended in space,

so far from it all.

But yet we kick and moan,

And argue our existence,

simply to find we are alone.

We develop sustenance,

To feed our never-ending greed,

Shamelessly we do not heed,

The signs that we can see,

Society's needs,

Plentiful feed,

fights o'r leads,

we see,

greed.

Our world
