A Time to Dance ~

Fri, 06/20/2014 - 13:57 -- kiwi556

Occupiers hold on with iron grips

Thoughtless deeds, humanity is on freeze

Women, children cry out of soundless lips

The hunger torments, never appeased

Heads held high, never giving up on life

Picking up rocks to fight against the tanks

Hoping to be rewarded for their strife

Life is hard but hope is strong; they give thanks

For surviving another painful day

They pray to God everyday for a chance

I hope to say that they will be okay

For they deserve a second time to dance

People of Palestine freedom will ring

Hold on to hope for this is just a fling
