Every time I close my eyes,

A star explodes inside my mind.

I see the ones I’ve lost,

They’ve all left,

At the highest cost.

This exploding star,

A supernova that’s not too far,

It rips apart my brain,

The reason I’m not sane.

How long until it fades?

This explosion of stars and fangs.

It must calm eventually,

It can’t expand forever,

Or can it?

This supernova in my head,

Makes me wish that I were dead.
