supermarket flowers

I miss laughing with you

About everything and nothing

Laughing until we cried

And crying until we laughed

We were this unbreakable unit of people

Divisible by none

Despite being two

Different perhaps

Isn’t that what they say?

“We were just too different,”

Perhaps we were

But i miss laughing with you

On piers and beaches and bedrooms

Behind closed doors

laying on your leather couch

Always freezing in the rain and sweating in July

And,

I really miss laughing with you.
