The Sun and Moon

The glow of a Summer’s Sun
Beats down upon Earth

And in it’s radiance come Life
Life that was created anew today

And in it’s shadow comes Death
Death that strikes in the darkness

The glow of a Winter’s Moon
Shines gentle upon Earth

And in it’s glow come Cold
A Cold, gripping all creatures

And in it’s absence come Warmth
A joyful Warmth that spread to all who hide in the night
