summer nights

a cool breeze brushes across my face

the smell of grass and dirt fill the atmosphere,

the crickets they chirp so loud, breaking through the silence of night

the glow of fireflies dace around the field ,

lighing up as if they've been waiting all day, to come out and play

i hear the fait hum of the highway  as i lay down on the plush grass

the stars light up the sky and create a sence of depth

a sense that the universe is endless

and i think to myself,

what a moment to remeber.
