Stop

STOP!
PUT THE RAZOR DOWN.
Step away from the edge, you’re about to tip over. I’m not close enough to grab your hand so listen to my voice.
Stop.
Put the razor down.
Please don’t step back or you’ll fall. If I was closer I’d reach for you. I’d hug you and tell you that I understand the world is a bad place, I’d tell you I know it’s a mean place, but only if you let it be.
Stop.
Put the razor down.
I’m sorry I didn’t see it sooner. You hid your pain behind closed bedroom doors and secret walls. We were so close yet so far away. Why didn’t we put in more effort to be best friends? You are a piece of me, one bound to forever. I’m sorry I didn’t see it sooner.
Stop.
Put the razor down.
I’m here now to help you now. I’ll  help show you away. Life is not bad if you step away from that edge. It’s happy out here, where you deserve to be.
I’m too far to reach you so listen to my voice
Please step away from that ledge.
Put the razor down.
