Space Bound

Care to take a walk on the moon?

I do too, but I can't

He's too far gone

And I'm still here on the sun

I'm space bound unfortunately

Left to drift, Left to wander

I hear their voices

The stars they speak to me

They keep me company

They are my friends

I speak to them

Listening to the knowledgeable words as I float

Hoping one day I'll step on the moon

Or just crash back to Earth

Maybe even fry my brain on the sun a bit more

But no, I must not wander

I must not fade into the dark
