Like stars in the galaxy
our paths merely crossed,
not to be aligned,
but only still lost.

Fading away my reach for you,
As the distance got farther,
Leaving me thinking about you,
being alone just got harder.

The gravity that I had,
wasn't enough to pull you closer.
I just don't understand.
I had nothing left to offer.

Wishing on other stars,
hoping you come back.
Soon you could be my moon,
so I won't completely go black.

Too far and I can't see you anymore,
time is separating,
I guess that’s why they call it space,
but you left me captivating.

I try to hold on,
But I'm losing myself.
I never thought it’d be this cruel.
My hopes are slowly degrading,
I know I'm losing you too,
because now your memories are fading.
