Sometimes you pray to god things work out. Sometimes you wish upon a star.

Then you realize it wasn't a star. Just an airplane flying high in the sky.

Your hope was raised up and shot down. You had faith things would work out.

In the end it never does. Life never goes as expected.

You miss the long hugs, days where you wish they never ended.

Like a great dream you wish you could stay there forever. But somehow the world gets in the way with what's right.

You find that perfect girl, and everything is going good.

Suddenly everything goes south, like the birds in the winter time.

I guess timing was wrong like a broken watch. So maybe we meet again in the future.

Where our lives cross again or maybe we don't. You want to keep the memories but you have to move on.

So we delete and delete and delete until we no longer know who they are.

That spot they had is numb and empty. No need to be stuck in the past.

We have much life to live. Moving on is just the life we live.

Our world
