So Soothing

Hot water deeper than the length of my hand.

Three false candles illuminate the darkness.

Like a dealer with cards Pandora shuffles.

Vessel slowly lowered into the depths.

Within the Epson Sea all thoughts dissolve.

The rubber stop fails as it gradually drains.

I soak till its purpose has been fulfilled.

From the basin I emerge calm and relaxed.

My train cleared of troublesome passengers.
