I hear a light stomp in the next room,

and I roll over.

A quiet second goes by and I doze off again.

Another stomp,

and I sigh as my eyes begin to open.

Your dishes clank,

and I sit up quickly and throw my blankets.

You stomp again,

louder this time, to make sure you're heard.

I open my door,

and quickly round the corner to see you,

standing up tall,

on your hind legs and sniffing the air around you.

I smile as always,

and pick up my impatient little bunny.

This poem is about:
