A Slap From Reality

“You are getting suspended.”

Bravado’s walls crashed down,

from my eyes tears descended,

upon my head was placed a crown;

it was labeled regret,

I had become Orpheus,

but without a Juliet,

and it wasn’t glorious.

Reality slapped me hard,

it won’t forget your actions,

loan sharks will send you a card,

there’ll be no benefactions.

I learned stupidity pays,

be careful what you do always.
