Silent Screams

Location

When someone yawns

I think to myself,

Are they really tired

Or are they silently screaming?

Most would think

They are sleepy.

I hang on the thought

That they're crying out for help.

I

Know

I

Am

When I yawn

I'm silently screaming.

I just cover it up

So no one know I'm in pain.

I put on my smile

To cover up the truth

'Cause it's not worth

Dragging my friends into.

I try to deal with it,

But sometimes it's too much,

So my yawns eventually

Turn into cries of anger.

Will anybody be able to hear me?
