Silent Ocean

Take my hand in yours and let’s walk the earth,

As if we were meant to since the birth,

For I have never felt anything like this,

When you lean over to blow me a kiss,

In the haze of infatuation.

Your eyes tell me this is my home,

Where the tummy-butterflies roam,

My heart becomes a whole,

And beats fast out of control.

It’s the world against us,

So, protect me from the fuss,

And let’s escape to the silent ocean,

The silence will reveal our emotion,

Comfort in this silence with you must be love.

I will never forget the moment by the ocean with you,

My happiest, yet, saddest to eradicate with much ado,

I am grateful to have been flowered with your trust,

Time has come to let your hand go, I must.

But make me one promise, my forever love,

When the earth becomes covered in snow,

That you will remember the silent ocean, and smile.
