In this little town it's not celebrated

but being different is the best thing you can be.

If you'd go to this school you'd see a bunch of the same.

Who wants to be a clone?

I was bullied for being different here

and I used to be ashamed.

I hide from everyone.

I was in a dark place.

At least I tried until I noticed

that different people shine.

Different stands out.

Different gets noticed.

I stood out for being gay.

I was noticed because I was proud.

I was different for being the only one.

I stand out.

I get noticed.

But now I shine brighter than ever.

If you're different you may go through stuggle

but you always make it out shinning.
