Shift

Location

Wind howled through the trees, making them shake uncontrollably.

The air shot through everyone's skin, it had been cold for so long.

Yet there was an end in sight, the winter weather was gone.

The brisk air began to fade from the bright blue sky.

As birds sang their happy songs, the sun came up from the horizon.

Rain had fallen

From the windowpane earlier that morning,

Leaving the green, glistening grass swaying in the gentle breeze.

A dawn of a new day shined the brightest of colors, leaving watchers speechless.

Blues mixed with wild pinks and eccentric yellows.

Oh how beautiful!

Critters of the land and air began to move.

First the flowers flourished fast as though reaching for the sky.

This wonderful spring made everyone think that nothing would die.

Spring had brought beauty and happiness.
