She was locked in her

She was locked in her cage

For years she saw as the birds flew
 
But one day her caged open 
She we scared at first 
 
But she knew she had to fly 
Not for her but for her people 
She realized flying was her only option 
I knew the caged bird could sang, but I didn't know she could soar too
